Costanza is a bilingual Italian-English speaker who's been studying, researching and teaching the subject of English Language Teaching since 2015. Above all else Costanza is fascinated by notions of language, its patterns, context usage and potentials.
Her teaching experience is diverse. She teaches in person and online to adults and teenagers, from beginners’ level to C2, to individuals, classes and corporate students.
She teaches General English and English for Specific Purposes, specialising in Academic English and prepares students for IELTS, Cambridge Assessment, Trinity exams and LanguageCert. She is a qualified CELTA teacher and broadly follows the CELTA teaching methodology.
Costanza is a lesson creator as well as a teacher. She focuses on producing lesson plans which are meaningful, integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and is unafraid of tackling topics related to current affairs and global political issues as contexts to her lessons.
Through her language teaching Costanza wants to promote awareness and critical thinking. Her work aims at empowering individuals, inspiring life long learning and fostering global collaborations and she seeks to do so at all levels of English language learning.
Costanza is also a qualified English for Academic Purposes (EAP) teacher and works more specifically in creating lesson plans in line with EAP target teachings for the humanities.
To produce her lessons Costanza uses and adapts material from text books, authentic materials, A.I. as well as developing her own original exercises.
